Woodland Park, Colorado is the largest city in Teller County with a population of around 7,600. Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods are only a 20 minute drive down Ute Pass, the historical gaming town of Cripple Creek is about 40 minutes away, Breckenridge Ski Area about an hour and a half. The Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Mueller State Park and Wildlife Area, Pikes Peak, Eleven Mile Reservoir and Canyon, and the over one million acre play ground of Pike National Forest for hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding and camping are all right here in Woodland Park’s back yard.

Recently constructed Pikes Peak Regional Hospital provides peace of mind to residents, and a wonderfully equipped and beautiful library sits in a prominent downtown location. Woodland Park offers restaurants, motels and cabins, campgrounds and RV parks, as well as a vibrant downtown with shopping and even a world renowned Dinosaur Museum. Visit the Farmer’s Market on summer Fridays from 7-1 PM, celebrate the 4th of July in Memorial Park and with the Symphony Above the Clouds Concert and fireworks, and enjoy the Music Series summer concerts at the Pavilion on the green. Rampart Range Reservoir is only 15 minutes away and is a favorite for boating and fishing, or try your luck angling at Manitou Lake, 10 minutes north on Highway 67.
